My brother, Michael, decided to make spaghetti for dinner tonight. He’s not much of a cook and needed a little guidance from our much younger sister. Here are some of the conversations I heard coming from the kitchen:
Aprille: “Why is the water not boiling yet.”
Michael: “I didn’t want to over cook it.”
Aprille: “There’s no pasta in the water. You can’t over cook water!”
Aprille: “You need to cut up the canned tomatoes.”
Michael: “Where do I cut them?” … answer.. in the can.
Aprille: “You need to put a cover on the sauce so it doesn’t splatter.”
