“The Incline” in Manitou Springs Colorado. (~2000 ft elevation gain in ~1 mile, average grade 41%, steepest grade 68%, starting at ~6500ft above sea level, ending at ~8500ft up where the air is rare)… and a ~3.5 mile trail back down (RP from Ace’s Facebook post).
Anthony went a few weeks ago while his roommate from the desert, Rob, was in town. I had to stay home to watch the kids, but got my chance on Sunday to conquer the notorious “Incline.” It was a butt busting intense workout. It didn’t help that we were up till 2:30 am the night before partying it up. Up by 5 am to make a tocilog breakfast and hit the steps by 7:ish. Even though I was cursing each step (all 2000 + of them) I can’t wait to do it again.
The following pictures were all stolen. Gotta love FB.
