The family’s first trip of the new year (other than driving back from CO) was a spontaneous visit to Chicago, just a four hour drive north from home.

I have heard my dear friend, Eleanor, tell me all about Chi town for years, so its always been on the top of my list of places to see. It really did not disappoint and we will be be back for sure in the summer.
