Playing a little catch up. Lots of fun updates to share, but we’ll take this in bite size pieces to get everyone up to speed on what we’ve been doing lately.

AJ decided to start Boy Scouts this year. Check out this handsome guy in his uniform before he got patches sewn on.

First Scout camp out. Daddy was very unprepared for the cold weather (wish we had a picture of his double tent set up), but the Scouts were well equipped and had a great time.

Fall in the Neighborhood

Tennis team dinner before the last game of the season – Taco bar and a little Just Dance.

Final game for this senior.

The perks of away games: Popeyes! Fried chicken and driving on the autobahn, this guy is living the dream.

Storybook character day at school. Kung Fu Panda, the Wolf from the Three Little Pigs, and Ana as Remy from Ratatouille.

Signed up for a spot at the school trunk-or-treat event. Our “free samples” were a hit with the kids and parents.

Lauren’s 10th birthday ice skating party. Double digits for our baby girl.

Gallivanting around our city

250th US Marine Corps Birthday Ball

Hey babe, can you send me some of the pictures you took from the ball? See slideshow below of said pictures. The free drinks were flowing and a time was had.

Kicked off the holiday season early this year. Per the kids’ request, decorations went up BEFORE Thanksgiving and I was happy to deliver.

First Christmas market. It was a little one in the neighborhood, so small that we didn’t even get any pictures of the inside, but we did get one next to the Friet stand.

Christmas market number 2 – Maredsous Abbey, Monastery in AnhĂ©e, Belgium

Thanksgiving 2026 with our guests: Mr. Derek, Uncle Kenner, Swaantje and Eike

A little Momo content.

Christmas Market market number 3 – Winterpret Brussels, Belgium

Quick work trip to CO and got to spend time with this cutie.

Trying something new.

Reunited and it feels so good!
Christmas market number 5 – well technically it was the one in Brussels again but a different part of the market đŸ˜‰

Ty fried a turkey since JoJo wasn’t with us for Thanksgiving. When just a small taste turns into a whole missing leg. LOL

Christmas market number 6 – Kerst Markt Valkenburg, Netherlands. First lunch and then a Christmas market in a Cave! It’s Europe’s largest underground Christmas market, so much fun!

Our elf was up to no good.

Christmas market number 7 – Leuven, Belgium. Treated myself to a set of hand made Belgian buildings.

Boy Scout promotion for AJ

Here’s a little teaser of what we did to round out the year….guess where are we headed this time?
